The burning bush is the symbol of life, life as individual life. Life does not exist outside individual life. Individual life is a 'miracle', it should not be according to the physical laws that govern the universe.
The individual being that bears life is the union of matter and energy. In the universe, existing things are either matter or energy, either particles or waves. Life is the union of both. Living creatures are matter and energy bound together.
The matter part of a being represents its individuality which is uniqueness, independence, as such, freedom. The energy part is the individual bounding with all other forms of life because an individual cannot exist alone. This energy part is the love bond, the total dependence on others to exist as an individual..
Life, individual life is freedom and love. Freedom and love are total independence coupled with total dependence, something that should not be, the union of two antithesis concepts. The bush is the matter, the flame is the energy.
So, one doesn't have to look for freedom and love anywhere else than inside oneself and the other ... Point à la ligne !
