As a consequence of the 'Quantity era', levels are determined and are used as lawful understanding to be applied on people's lives. Level of pollution, of harmfulness, of sanity, of expenses, of literally anything. China's social control system is a direct consequence of such a definition of life, which it is de facto.
People are parked between artificial boundaries, taught not to think but to learn prefab idioms about illusory things and to enlist in unnatural behaviors, from birth to death.
