Trapped in a ”civilized” world

Before I had 'grown up', before I became that 'as usual' adult, I was a child. As a child, the dominant force that was leading me, from my smallest move to the biggest was faith. I mainly had faith in love, love of my parents, love of my friends and of the whole world around. I also had faith in freedom, my own and that of any living creature. This faith often translated into an acute feeling of justice.

Those child feelings embody what the essence of any individual is made of, love and freedom, in one word, the soul. As a direct and unique consequence, what is driving life, that is, any living creature because life is not a virtual concept but the gathering of all individual living entities, the 'life-drive' uniquely and fundamentally consists in a dual inseparable move that is the root of everything:

- The fulfillment of one's wants

- The search of soul parity

The freedom side that is embedded in every individual asks for the realization of one's vision of who he believes that he should become. The love side needs to find others in order to share one's vision so that it does not remain a virtual dream but translates into a reality experiment.

The natural example of this binary process is that of total independence coupled with inescapable cooperation to the benefit of all. Although in the wilderness, such a attitude involves at times brutal force, it never overcome what is necessary to keep the whole living world alive and progressing together.

On the contrary, in man's world, brutal force is rewarding independence by taking over cooperation to the benefit of the best wrapped up individuals. Society rewards the winner no matter what. Until the advent of our technology driven framework, the natural part of man's livelihood that was still prevalent was balancing the power of the fittest.

But, since the emergence of technocracy, there is no more limit to the strength of those that are able to steer the 'macchina'. He who is not able to cope with what we call the progress is left behind with loss and crash. Mankind that until now had been somehow an homogeneous world, even in its differences, has become an exclusive and segregated domain. There is more difference today between people who can climb up the success ladder and those who lag behind than there was between a slave master and his slaves two hundred years ago ...

The former slave was enslaved but was still part of his contemporary world. Today left over persons are absolutely disconnected from any chance of sharing anything with those who lead the game. Slavery has moved from being an external characteristic to become an internal and incurable disease.

Thank you so much 'modern civilization', you just killed man's soul irretrievably !!
